We know that technical issues can be frustrating, so here are some quick handy fixes to get you back on track:
Google Chrome is the best browser for our lessons. Or, if you’re using an iPad, you’ll need Safari.
Check for updates. Make sure your computer software and browser are the most up-to-date versions.
Check your sound isn’t muted and that your computer is using the right sound device (we recommend a wired headset).
Test your microphone using a voice recording application to verify if it's functioning. On Windows, Voice Recorder. On Mac, Voice Memos.
Check your internet connection - we have some tips and tricks here 🙌
Planned Connectivity Issues: If you have upcoming WiFi maintenance, notify parents or students in advance. Offer options like rescheduling or refunds based on their preferences. Reach out to support if needed to manage lessons effectively.
Unplanned Connectivity Problems: During unexpected disruptions, ensuring clear communication with students is key. Consider having them clear their browser's cache and cookies to tackle immediate issues.
Clearing cookies and cache can often resolve browser-related issues, as it removes temporary data that may interfere with the proper functioning of websites and online platforms.
Restart your computer. Sometimes that really is the answer!
Please note with our new platform we no longer recommend using Incognito.
