How do I close my account?

We know that sometimes our tutors finish their studies and leave for new jobs!

If you’d like to close your MyTutor account, you can do so via a Live Chat with our team. You will need to confirm the details of your account for us, this will include: You can also contact us via email in addition to Live Chat.

  • Your full name

  • The email associated with your MyTutor account.- Your phone number (if applicable)

💡 Top Tip

You can speak to us on live chat for a closed account request, this is the quickest and simplest way to submit your closed account request with us. However, you can also email us at support@mytutor.co.uk with a request to close your account.

Please note that if you decide to close your account, any outstanding DBS charges must still be settled as the check remains valid and was already issued on your behalf.

Once your account is closed:

You won’t be able to log in, make bookings, or view or send messages. Your profile will no longer be visible within the platform.

Closed accounts can typically be reopened unless you request data deletion.

You might still receive email updates - if you don’t want these, just click ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of the latest email.
