What you earn depends on whether you teach private lessons or lessons through our Schools Programme (you can read more about that here).

Lessons are 55 minutes, and you’re paid per lesson.

All tutors start on the Schools Programme first. For these lessons, there’s a performance-based pay band system. This means that you’ll earn more as you gain more experience. Check out this article for more information.

If you’re invited to join the private side of MyTutor to tutor private lessons, you can choose your tutoring fee from 5 price bands.

You can find your tutoring fee for each price band on the My Prices page when you log in to your MyTutor account.
