How much you can earn as a tutor depends on whether you're delivering Schools Programme lessons or Private Lessons.

🏫 Schools Programme lessons

  • All tutors start on the Schools Programme.

  • Lessons are 55 minutes long, and you're paid per lesson.

  • Your rate is based on a performance-based pay band system.

    • As you gain experience and maintain quality, you can move up the bands and earn more.

🧑‍💻 Private lessons

  • If you’re invited to tutor privately, you’ll set your own fee by choosing from 5 price bands.

  • You can find your current band and adjust it by going to the My Prices page in your MyTutor account.
