Boosting is a feature that, when you activate it, lets us know that you’re actively looking for work.
When you boost, you’ll be bumped up the rankings for new opportunities (relative to those who aren’t)
Plus our Tutor Matching team look at which tutors are boosting when they’re helping parents to find a tutor. They want to make sure they send parents tutors who are 100% ready and available.
How to boost?
Click the drop-down menu under your profile image
Select Boost My Profile
You can even specify if you’re looking just for private or school work, or both (if you’ve joined the private side).
Confirm your tutoring availability and Free Meeting availability
For the Schools Programme, you’ll now get a higher priority status. How do I get more school opportunities?
For private lessons, you’ll also be able to activate Instant Book.
Instant Book allows parents to instantly book a Free Meeting with you, doing away with the back-and-forth on agreeing to a meeting.
You’ll get a pop-up once you have activated your Boost, where you can:
Select which hours you’re available.
Choose your advance notice period - if you choose 24 hours, a parent must book at least 24 hours in advance.
Once a parent Instant Books a Free Meeting, you’ll get an email notification.
