How do I get paid?

Your earnings will land directly in the personal account that you link up with our third-party provider Stripe.

Once you join the New platform, and apply to your first opportunity, you'll be prompted to set up your Stripe account.

It's important that your Stripe account is set up before your first lesson as you'll need a payment account with them to get paid for your lessons. You can check out this handy guide on how to set up your Stripe account.

When will I get paid?

You'll be paid weekly, every Tuesday for lessons carried out on the New platform.

Please note:

  1. It can take up to 7 days for the initial payments to land in your bank account, so pay will always be 1 week behind.

  2. If you're working across both platforms, pay will continue to be paid to you in two separate ways until all customers have transitioned to the New platform.

Where can I check how much I got paid?

You'll need to log into your account through Stripe. There will be helpful dashboards to keep track of everything at a glance.

You can find a link to log in to your Stripe account on your New platform account.

  • Go to your profile.

  • Click your picture in the top right-hand corner

  • Select Income and Pricing

  • At the bottom of the Income and Pricing page, you'll find a link to access your Stripe account.

What if something’s wrong?

Please contact our Support Team via Live Chat so we can investigate this for you.

Why are you using a third-party provider?

We’re using a trusted, independent, third-party payment processor, and here’s why:

  • You’ll get paid quicker (every week)

  • It’ll be easier to track your earnings (via their helpful dashboards)

The provider simplifies the process of getting the right payment into the right accounts. Established marketplaces such as Amazon, Deliveroo and Depop use similar providers to process payments securely at scale.

Setting up your account with them takes less time than making a cup of tea. All you need to do is provide some basic information and your payment details. You’ll be prompted to set up your account once you apply for your first opportunity.

Do I need to pay a fee to the third-party provider?

No, we'll cover the cost. You won't need to pay to set up or use the account.
