MyTutor has separate login portals for the old (current) platform and the new platform.
You may have noticed a 'new platform' button on your homepage. This is an easy way to switch between the platforms.
For general troubleshooting, try clearing your browser's cache and cookies. Additionally, accessing the login page using incognito mode or switching to a different browser or device can often resolve potential technical issues.
Having trouble logging into the new platform?
Check these three things if you're having trouble:
Check you're using your personal email address. You may use your university email to login to the old platform, but the new platform will be registered with your personal email.
Check your password is correct. If you've successfully logged into the new platform before, you may just need to reset your password by clicking 'forgotten password'. To reset your password, navigate to the login page, click on 'Forgot Password,' and follow the prompts to create a new password. You'll receive a password reset link via email which you can use to reset your login details.
Contact us for a new temporary password. If you've never previously logged in to the new platform your original temporary password may have expired. We will have emailed it to your personal email, but these expire after 7 days. To request a new temporary password, you'll see a pop-up when you log in to your old account. Submit the request through that pop-up, and we'll send you a new temporary password via email. Ensure you use this password within 7 days of receiving the email or it will expire again.
Consider browser-specific troubleshooting. If issues persist, clear the browser cache or try logging in through an incognito mode or using a different browser or device. For more resources on login issues, check out this FAQ page or contact MyTutor support for personalized assistance.
