As you’re self-employed for private lessons, you decide your tutoring fee. You can choose from 5 set price bands.
Keep in mind that parents will be more willing to pay more based on your experience, academic achievements, and reviews. We offer more guidance on price bands on your My Prices page when you log in to your MyTutor account.
To make the change:
Log in to your MyTutor account
Use the drop-down menu on the right-hand side to navigate to your My Prices page
Scroll down to Changing your price.
Click on the price band that you want to change to, and confirm your choice.
Bookings made before your price band change are automatically kept at the same price they were booked. (Because we know you might not want to change what you charge existing customers).
If you want to change those lessons to fall under the new price band:
We recommend that you give your parents/students a heads-up first!
Cancel and rebook any upcoming sessions with them.
