Our tutors want to plan the best lessons, tailored to their pupils' needs. That's why the Important Modules section on the Pupil Details form is an absolute necessity!
The information we need will depend on the subject and can vary from specific texts (e.g. Macbeth) to particular topics the pupil struggles with.
Our best guidelines are:
✅ Specify exact content to cover - e.g. substitute numerical values (Maths), identifying the main theme or themes (English Language), waves (Science/Physics).
✅ Specify key elements to cover when a text is needed - e.g. the theme of ambition in Macbeth, the double in Frankenstein.
✅ State clearly if/when all content of a subject branch needs covering - e.g. Arithmetic - all topics in AQA specification.
✅ Be as specific as possible instead of using broad areas of focus or titles of texts - e.g. Algebra, critical reading and comprehension, Macbeth.
Without this Important Module information, tutors won’t be able to plan their lessons!
Our team will need to check your Pupil Details Form after it's submitted, and if we need more detail or some clarification, we’ll get in touch straight away to ask you to fill in any missing bits.
