What if my pupil is having multiple lessons per week?
What if my pupil is having multiple lessons per week?

Is your pupil having more than one lesson in a day or in a week? Read this article to find out how to best fill in the pupil details form!

Updated over a week ago

Multiple lessons are when your pupil or group is having more than one lesson a day, or more than one lesson in a week.

Each lesson your pupil or group has can be on the same day at different times or back-to-back, and in the same subject or a different subject!

Whatever you need, we can create a timetable to suit you! You’ll just need to fill in the specifics on your form, as follows:

  1. Fill out a full row per lesson, per pupil/group

Even if pupils are having lessons on the same day, each lesson needs to have a separate row, e.g. If a pupil is having 1 lesson a day, 5 times a week, there will be 5 rows.

  2. Complete your first row for the pupil

Make sure to fill in all the usual necessary information.

  3. Copy & paste the pupil’s details into separate rows

The number of rows should match the number of lessons they’ll have each week, e.g. one row equals one lesson.

  4. Manually change the lesson details (days, times, and subject)

Make sure you do this for each row as needed:

e.g. 1 - Where each lesson is a different subject, make sure to change the subject details in that row.

e.g. 2 - Where any 2 lessons are occurring on the same day, make sure each row has a different start time.

  5. Complete important module details

Do this for each lesson in a different subject - we’ve got some pointers on this here!

Three or more lessons in the same week

Where three or more lessons are occurring in the same week, follow the same steps above: per lesson, per pupil or group.

Finally, leave us a note in the important modules column e.g. note 3 lessons per day (Science/Maths/English). Mon-Wed (only).
