Are you wondering how payment works for your lessons?
As a parent, you could have one of 2 account types. You will either have a wallet that you top up before lessons and pay that way, or you have recurring lessons that you pay for individually.
You can click which option is relevant to you below and use this to navigate how to pay for your lessons.

All lesson payments are made through your account, and they need to be paid for before they take place so you can access your lesson with your tutor.
Just make sure you:
Login to your parent account.
Make your first booking.
Enter the details of your payment card.
Our third-party payment system, Opayo, will then take a deferred payment of the full lesson cost which will show in your bank as a pending payment. This will be held as pending until 24 hours ahead of the scheduled lesson start time when we'll request for your bank to release the payment to us. Any promotional offers will also show at this point.
Do you store my card details?
We don’t (and can’t legally) store your card details.
Payments are handled by our payment provider, Opayo, who stores and repeats a payment made for any future bookings within 24 hours.
Cancelling your tutorials will stop payments from being taken.
You can only have one card connected to your account at a time.
Can I delete my card details?
We can’t delete payment details without deleting your whole MyTutor account.
If we delete your account, your data will be removed from our third-party payment system.
Your personal data will be anonymised so it no longer recognises you.
Can I pay with childcare vouchers?
Unfortunately, these providers do not have eligibility with our tutoring so we aren't able to accept childcare vouchers as payment.
