Schools Programme tutorials are part of the school timetable, so pupils may be held up on the way to the tutorial, by technical issues, or even being absent from school.
As a tutor you should remain in the lesson space for the entire duration of the tutorial, unless told otherwise. This is because if your pupil is able to get to the lesson space later on, it's still valuable for them to have some of their lesson with you.
You do not need to contact us if you pupil is absent - we'll be actively monitoring attendance and we'll try and get them on site as soon as possible.
This is all highlighted in the online training.
We understand that you've put in a lot of work to plan your tutorial, so in the instances that your pupil is unable to make the session, you will receive full payment. However, if you do leave the tutorial before the end time, we cannot guarantee that you will receive payment.
