To send a message to one of you schools pupils, you need to visit your Messages page, and then click the ‘new message’ button:
When you begin your new message, you need to tick the 'Pupil' box which will bring up a list of schools pupils you are working with from which you can select the pupil you need to message:
Only those schools pupils that have messaging enabled on their accounts will appear in this list.
Messaging is generally reserved only for students working at A Level and is also enabled for some younger pupils who may be taking their sessions at home rather than at school. It is for child protection reasons that GCSE pupils don’t usually have messaging enabled. For those pupils having sessions at home, their parents will also be able to monitor these messages.
If your pupil doesn't have messaging enabled you should make sure you discuss everything you need to during lesson time. If you ever do wish to pass something on to them outside of lesson time, let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
