Tutorials are provisional until they have been confirmed by the tutor and paid for by the parent. You will know that a tutorial is confirmed when it appears under the ‘Confirmed Tutorials’ section of your Tutorial Bookings. If you have a tutorial booked and it hasn’t been confirmed 24 hours before it is due to start, it may be helpful to send a polite note to the parent double checking that the tutorial will still go ahead, and refer them to our email@example.com contact in case they are having any issues.
Booking Statuses explained:
Accepted - awaiting payment You have accepted the booking and the parent needs to pay
Confirmed You have accepted the session, the parent has paid and you will be able to launch the session
Awaiting tutor confirmation You need to respond to the booking request
Awaiting reconfirmation This session has been rescheduled by the parent and you need to respond
Completed The session has been completed, you will be paid for this in the next payment round
