The online lesson space is where all your MyTutor lessons will take place for your safety and convenience. Once your lesson is confirmed, you can launch the lesson space. You can launch up to 10 minutes before the lesson is due to start - handy if you want to make sure everything is set up and ready to go before you start your lesson!
When you log into your account at the time of your lesson you should see a green banner on your homepage, with a blue launch button:
Click on the launch button, and you’ll be taken to the lesson space setup. Once we’ve checked that you have a good internet connection and your microphone and camera are working, you’ll be taken through lesson space! Your tutor will meet you there at the time of the lesson.
Alternatively, you can launch the lesson space from your bookings tab:
Remember to pay for your lesson ahead of time, otherwise you won’t be able to access the lesson space.
I can't launch my online lesson - the launch button is not active
The 'launch' button becomes available 10 minutes before the scheduled start time of your lesson. If the lesson is confirmed, it's less than 10 minutes before the start time and the button is still not available, try refreshing the page you're on.
If the button is still not available, please check that the lesson status is 'Confirmed' and not 'Awaiting payment' or 'Awaiting confirmation' as lessons can only be launched when they are confirmed.
