Customer reviews are subjective opinions of parents and students who have booked a lesson with a tutor.
Parents and students are invited to leave a review after each tutorial, they can also leave a review by visiting your profile, providing they’ve had a lesson with you.
How our reviews work
Reviews are a way to get valuable feedback from your students and parents. They’re also a chance to demonstrate the great work you’ve done on the platform, encouraging prospective new parents and students to work with you.
We prompt parents and students to review a session after it’s complete, and they can complete and edit a review up to 7 days after the lesson took place.
You can also request a review from a parent or student at any time from your messages page. You can do this by selecting ‘request a review’.
Can Schools students leave reviews?
Yes, School’s students can leave star ratings after a lesson but they can’t leave a comment.
Can a review be removed?
There are only a few cases where we might remove a review.
- If the review includes offensive language.
- The parent or student who left the review has asked for us to remove it.
- You’ve spoken to the parent or student and they’ve agreed to the removal.
- The lesson has since been refunded.
If you’re unhappy with a review left by a parent, please reach out to the parent from your messages thanking them for their feedback and ask them to share more context. If you feel that the review should be removed, please ask the parent if they are happy to agree to this. You can also respond to the review which will show any potential customers that you’re proactive with feedback and shed some light on the review.
If you think a review left on your profile should be removed, please fill in our form letting us know why and we'll look into this for you.
