If one of your pupils can’t make their session, it’s easy to let the tutor know via your teacher account.
Simply click on your Lessons page and select the upcoming lesson. You will be given an option to mark your pupil(s) absent by selecting their name and ticking the checkbox shown below. This is just like an authorised absence at school.
Then...
Next...
And finally...
If you’d like to reschedule the lesson, and are able to give our team over 24 working hours’ notice, simply get in touch at schools@mytutor.co.uk to let us know. A-Level pupils can directly message their tutor to reschedule a lesson, if they can’t make it.
It’s very important that the right pupils are in the right lesson. Please do not allow another pupil to take the place of an absent one. Allowing a pupil to use someone else’s log-in details is a safeguarding issue, and one that we take very seriously.
Can I mark an absence in the past as authorised?
The answer is - yes! If you would like to mark a past absence as authorised, simply drop us a line on schools@mytutor.co.uk and our frontline team will be able to do this for you! Authorised absences will not affect your overall attendance score.
