The fees that come out of your tutorials mean we're able to invest a lot in providing plenty of work for you, and a safe online space to host lessons.
Here's a bit more about how that breaks down:
Marketing: We work with a PR agency who are behind all the great coverage you see, from The Times to Metro, plenty of radio stations, and the telly. We work with an SEO agency, who make sure when people search for tutors online, we show up first. We also use budget to get ads on all your favourite social media apps and search engines. Oh, and we made a TV advert! All of these things get the MyTutor name in front of parents and schools, which means more work for you.
Support: All our teams here at MyTutor are constantly growing - from new friendly voices at the end of your customer service calls, to former teachers who create training content for you. Plus our Tutor Expert team and Schools Sales team who are dedicated to ringing up parents and schools to match them with your tutorials.
Platform Development: We invest a lot into improving our platform - this is in the form of building out our Product Engineering team, implementing additional infrastructure, investing in new monitoring and alerting processes, and testing and implementing site features.
The other stuff: From office space to legal support and insurance (to make sure pupils, tutors, schools and parents are protected), there are loads of other outgoings and overheads that fees contribute to.
