Over 90 days, you’ll need to excel in the following requirements to earn Star Tutor rank:
You engage & delight customers ensuring they want to work with you after meeting them for the first time.
Your customers complete 3 lessons within the first 4-weeks of working with you
Your customers have multiple lessons with you a week
You attended all of your bookings on time and remained in the lesson for the full duration.
You reply to all first messages within 24 hours of receiving them.
Hitting all of the above consistently shows us that you’re providing an excellent service that meets customers’ expectations. So they’re more likely to work with you for longer, make more progress and recommend MyTutor to others (bringing you, our tutors, more work opportunities!)

We’ll evaluate and share your tutor score with you every 2 weeks (in line with when you’re paid). That way you can maintain your Star Tutor status or quickly improve your score.

When we launch new work opportunities (such as long-term customers on our new platform), we’ll share them with our Star Tutors first.
So by improving and maintaining your score, you’ll get early access to new types of work to bolster your CV and earnings).

The Star Tutor scheme only applies to tutors working on our private platform. Your score will not be shared publicly; it is for you to use as a guide to do your best work.
Your score is private and only visible to you. It’s a tool designed to help you measure and improve your performance. At this stage, your score is available exclusively on the private platform and will not be shared with schools or parents.
This ensures that you can focus on using it as a guide to support your growth and deliver the best possible experience for your students.

You can improve your score by focusing on the key behaviours outlined. Make sure to:
Engage parents in a meaningful way to build trust and encourage them to invest in your services as a tutor.
Encourage consistent lesson schedules.
Retain parents by providing a high-quality learning experience.
Maintain excellent attendance records.
Respond promptly to messages within 72 hours.
