Q1

Why is my invoice missing payment for some of the lessons that I had on the Schools Programme? If you are missing some lessons on your invoice for lessons on the Schools Programme, did you know we have 2 payment rounds in a month?

We process the first payment round at the beginning of the month and the second is mid-month. Check out this article for more information on how these payment rounds are processed so you can check which payment round your lesson should be included in.

I had 2 back-to-back lessons with a pupil on the Schools Programme, why was I only paid for 1 lesson? When you carry out back-to-back lessons, you would need to make sure you enter both lesson spaces so the system registers that both lessons were attended for you to be paid.

If you have forgotten to do this and stayed within the one-lesson space for the duration of both lessons, you'll need to get in touch with our team. They will check all the details with you and process the payment if they can confirm both lessons took place for their full duration.

Am I as a tutor able to watch back lesson recordings?

As a tutor, you are not able to watch back the lesson recordings.

Q4

Can I hide my grade results from my profile?

You cannot hide your grade results from your profile. If you have a grade that you are open to teaching and it is on your subject list, the grades will be shown on your profile.

How do I get the link to my private profile to be able to share it?

If you log in to your account, on the right-hand side of the homepage you can see your profile picture. Just below this, there is a 'View profile' option. If you click on this it will open your private profile and you can find the link in the web address bar.

How does a parent add another student to their account?

If a parent has asked you how they can add a student account to their parent account you can direct them to this helpful article in our help centre.

The parent says they have paid for the lesson but it is not showing as confirmed on my side, why is that?

If your private lesson is not showing as confirmed, you won't be able to launch the lesson. The parent will need to make sure the payment has been taken and then the lesson status will change to confirmed from pending.

Why am I not seeing any requests in the 'Requests' section of the website?

It's not uncommon to see fluctuations in the number of requests on the site. During certain times of the year, especially as we approach summer, there tends to be a decrease in the number of parents looking for tutors, which could explain why you've seen fewer requests recently. However, there are steps you can take to increase your visibility and chances of getting lessons:
