How do I update the subjects I tutor?
You can update the subjects and levels you tutor at any time by editing your profile.
Keeping your subject preferences up to date helps ensure you’re matched with the right students and tutoring opportunities.
If you remove a subject from your profile, you will no longer receive requests for that subject or level.
If you add a new subject, you must still meet the required qualification criteria, including a B grade or higher at A-Level (or equivalent) in that subject. You may also be asked to provide proof of your qualifications (such as certificates).
How to add, update, or remove subjects
To update your subject preferences:
Go to your homepage.
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner.
Select Personal details.
Scroll to the Tutoring details section.
Select or deselect the subjects and levels you want to tutor.
Click Submit for approval.
What happens after I make changes?
If you remove a subject, your profile will update so you no longer receive requests for that subject or level.
If you add a subject, your request will be reviewed by the MyTutor team before it is approved.
Once approved, the subject will be added to your profile.
You can re-add a subject at any time by repeating the same steps and submitting it again for approval.
