How do I pay for online lessons on Memberships?
You can pay for lessons by purchasing a plan with your preferred tutor.
Plans last for either 3 or 6 months and you can choose between having one or two lessons per week over this period. Payments for plans are taken on a monthly basis and each payment covers the cost of your agreed number of lessons for the subsequent period, as well as a fixed platform fee that enables you to access learning materials outside of lessons.
When you choose a plan, you will be asked to enter your card details on our secure payment system. Once you’ve done this, payments will be taken automatically on the same date each month for the agreed duration of your plan. You will receive a notification when each payment is taken.
If your monthly payment fails, you will be notified via email, and we will try taking payment again within the subsequent weeks within that month of your plan. If all attempts fail, your plan will be cancelled.
How much does tutoring cost?
How much you pay for tutoring depends on what your tutor charges and the tutoring plan you choose.
You can see how much individual tutors charge when you decide who you'd like to work with. Then, you'll have the chance to set your tutoring plan, which will unlock discounts on each lesson.
Plans range in price, based on your tutor and how many lessons you plan to have, plus a monthly platform fee. Each plan includes:

At least one 60-minute lesson per week
Regular reporting on progress and feedback
Flexible rescheduling and booking
24/7 access to learning support and resources
Personal support from our team 6-days per week

Why is there a platform fee?
To help MyTutor run smoothly and provide 24/7 access to subject resources and materials, every plan includes a platform fee.
This is a flat price of £9.99 per month per customer, no matter how many membership plans you have ongoing at any time.
