What is a valid DBS check?

I'm a Tutor article! All of our tutors need an Enhanced DBS check to work with us.

All tutors working with MyTutor must have a valid Enhanced DBS check. This helps us ensure the safety of all pupils we support.

If you already have a DBS check, we’ll check that it meets our requirements. If you do not have a valid DBS check, you’ll need to apply for one through MyTutor.

The requirements for a valid DBS check can differ depending on whether you are a new tutor joining MyTutor or an existing tutor renewing your DBS.
